Flight Safety Draft Regulations:

The Eastern Caribbean Civil Aviation Authority (ECCAA) recently drafted the Proposed Amendments to the Civil Aviation (Flight Safety) Regulations (CAR (FS)) and solicited input from all stakeholders through a public consultation period which was initially slated to conclude on 28th August 2023, but was extended to 16th September 2023 to encourage more stakeholder participation. Subsequently, a comprehensive review of the feedback received on the draft was undertaken. The ‘Review of Draft Regulation Feedback’ form, linked below, provides a summary of the ensuing actions taken in response to the feedback.

The next step is the provision of the finalized Proposed Regulations to the ECCAA participating states for official publication in the Gazette.
